What we deliver
We handle couches, mattresses, dining sets, dressers, washers and dryers, and other pieces that are heavy or awkward enough that two people struggling on a staircase is not a good plan. If you bought something online or from a local furniture store and the store only offers curbside drop off, we bridge that gap and get it inside.
We also pick up from private sellers, which comes with its own set of questions worth asking before delivery day, like whether the piece fits through the doorway of the new home and whether it needs to be broken down first.
How a delivery day works
We confirm the pickup address, the delivery address, and any access details, like a gate code, an apartment buzzer, or a narrow hallway that needs a piece turned on its side to clear a corner. On the day, we load carefully, drive to the delivery address, and carry the item in rather than leaving it at the door.
If the piece needs minor assembly once it is inside, such as attaching legs to a couch or reconnecting a headboard, we can take care of that on the same visit so you are not left finishing the job yourself.
Timing and access
Apartment buildings around Nashville often have specific delivery windows or require a reserved elevator, especially downtown and in Midtown. Tell us about any building rules when you book, and we will plan the arrival time around them so the delivery does not get turned away for missing a reservation.
For houses with tight driveways or a shared alley, let us know ahead of time as well. A crew that expects a narrow approach brings the right equipment, like furniture dollies with smaller wheels, instead of finding out on site that the usual gear does not fit.
When delivery turns into more
Some deliveries turn into a bigger job once we are in the house, a customer decides to move an old piece out at the same time, or wants a second item carried upstairs that was not on the original order. We can usually handle that on the spot if the crew has the time, so mention it when we arrive and we will see what fits into the day.
